Chase the Equine Dream

“Chase the Equine Dream”™ Challenge w/Chase Dodd

A challenge for Rescued horses

Every horse dreams of having someone to love and care for them and there are many people dreaming of one day owning their very own horse to care for, and to love. The “Chase the Equine Dream”™ Challenge, exclusively by Chase Dodd, gives every horse that has ever been rescued, or up for adoption, a chance to compete and show off its ability and make some money! These are probably the best odds you will ever have of making $100, in only seven minutes.

The rules of this competition are very simple, we will select up to ten horses and riders, & every horse in the competition must have  been rescued, or up for adoption. To compete, you cannot be a professional or have earned more than $100, in the past twelve months, period training or competing.

You will have seven minutes to complete the obstacle course and it will be judged on a 1 to 3 scale.

Score of 3:      You did the obstacle with the greatest of ease.

Score of 2:      You had just a little trouble but got thru.

Score of 1:      You had quite a bit of trouble but got thru it.

Score of 0:      You didn’t come close to completing the obstacle.

The obstacles will consist of (but not limited to) crossing a bridge, dragging a light log, going over a tarp, going thru a shower curtain, backing thru an obstacle, mounting your horse, and all three gaits, walk, trot, and canter on correct lead.

The twist of the competition: Riders will not be competing against each other, they will be trying to beat Chase Dodd. Chase is a two-time winner of the Extreme Mustang Competition and a two-time Colt Starting Competition Champion. Chase lives on his ranch on Flat Top Mountain in Tennessee where he starts colts and travels across the country holding private clinics to teach people more about their horses and to help them understand the way horses think and move.

At EquiFest 2012, Chase Dodd will work with a horse that has never been ridden or saddled. He will host clinics throughout the weekend for a total of 2 ½ hours with his colt. After Chase’s final clinic, the “Chase the Equine Dream Challenge” will begin.  Again, the participants' goal is to beat Chase (on the horse he just started during EquiFest), in the obstacle course. Each one of the ten horse/rider teams, that beats Chase, will earn $100, donated by Chase’s sponsor, OrthoFlex Saddleworks.

Don't miss this equine challenge!
